Our Attic
Welcome and thank you for visiting The Pottery Attic!
My name is Sharon and I started making pottery about 4 years ago. Pottery is something I always wanted to try but never had the time, but now as I get close to retiring, this was the perfect time to get on this little journey of mine.
I am a small batch potter from a small town in Maryland – making no more than a few pieces of the same shape and design. A large number of my pieces are hand built instead of on the wheel. Hand building gives me the freedom to be more creative as I explore the world of clay and the endless possibilities to create one-of-a-kind pieces – perfectly ‘imperfect’ functional pieces to enjoy each and every day.

Hey folks - non-pottery post here.
My daughter just rolled out her website for custom decorated sugar cookies. Her cookies not only tastes scrumptious, but her art work on them are stunning.
Here’s to another awesome small business. Please check her out at @chutigirlscookies or visit her
